2006 saw development and manufacture of the very first wavelet generator facility. The wavelet generator (WG), while acting upon command from incoming rectangular pulse, forms analog signal of a pre-programmed shape. The digital part of WG employs programmable logic integrated circuits (PLIC). Owing to the availability of a re-programmable memory unit, WG allows to produce 20 and more signals of any type, including the orthogonal ones, usable in communication systems. For instance, as far as the fractal communication system goes, an orthogonal system of fractal wavelets is introduced into the memory unit of WG. At the base of WG is a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) which enables to form signals with 4096 levels of quantization. The maximum programmable amplitude of the signal is 2 volts. In order to meet the requirements of the dynamic range and bearing in mind the high sampling frequency of signals formed, our WG is made on a four-layer PCB. Fig.1 presents a photographic image of the WG.

New options of the WG pre-suppose production of more than 100 species of the signals.
